Dr. Apambire will talk about the lack of basic water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services in developing countries – first covering the scope of the problem and providing examples from Africa to illustrate the problem.
Dr. Apambire, Senior Assistant to the President for Global Sustainability and Director of the Center for International Water and Sustainability at the Desert Research Institute, is an expert in international Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) and development matters with extensive field, academic, teaching, grant making and management experience.
