This program will feature JoJo Townsell, a graduate of Procter R. Hug High School who went to UCLA on a football scholarship and played seven seasons for the New York Jets.  JoJo is president of MEFIYI Foundation (ME FOR INCREDIBLE YOUTH), an organization that works by teaching the importance of education through sports awarding student-athletes scholarships to attend college.
 
The MEFIYI Foundation (ME-FOR-INCREDIBLE YOUTH) has been serving Nevada youth since 1997. 
 
The organization’s purposes include introducing and maintaining student participation in sports, acquainting student-athletes and their families of how education will influence their future, reducing Nevada’s youth drop-out rate and promoting youth sports as critical to help prevent childhood obesity and building self-esteem.
 
The organization has raised $3.8 million dollars that support Nevada sports and enrichment programs, chaired a task force that raised $500,000 for completion of the Helen & Ollie Westbrook Center in Reno, NV, secured $300,000 in start-up funding that opened the Boys  & Girls Club of Carson Valley in Gardnerville, NV and gifted $400,000 to support other Nevada youth charities
 
2015 goals include teaching the importance of education through sports,  awarding student-athletes scholarships to attend college and supporting other Nevada youth non-profit organizations.
