Tim Heydon is a 15 year Sparks Rotarian and Past President of Sparks Rotary (2012/13).  After graduating from the University of Nevada Reno, he spent 25 years with Clark and Sullivan Construction ending up as Vice President of Operations. Through real estate investing he was able to semi-retire in 2006, and now keeps busy with various receivership appointments or consulting roles.  He is currently is a consultant on the Tesla Gigafactory and holds the building construction license for the project.  The 2015 volume made it the 70th largest Design Build firm in the world.
 
Tim also sits on the board for ACE Charter High School, and is on the Advisory Board for the University’s College of Engineering.  He has 4 kids, 3 of which will be attending the University this year, with the 4th  having graduated last year.
 
Tim is a world traveler having visited 64 countries, the latest being Tanzania where he climbed Mt Kilimanjaro which he will talk about today.
