March 4, 2015 Program: Hans Frischeisen | World Bicycling
Hans Frischeisen has bicycled extensively throughout the world, with routes in the western and eastern hemispheres as well as above and below the equator.
In September of 2013, he biked from Hamburg through Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey into Iran as far as the southern city of Shiraz. From there he flew to Bombay, biked across India and Sri Lanka and in September 2014 continued by riding across Australia. On this, the latest ride (January 2015), he flew into Shiraz and biked approx. 400 miles to the city of Bandar Abbas on the Persian Gulf. From there he flew across to Dubai, UAE and biked approx. 300 miles to Muscat in Oman. Hans will present the segment from Shiraz to Bandar Abbas, all of which is in Iran, which was really the best part.
