SPARKS MARINA ALL ABILITIES PLAYGROUND
The Rotary Club of Sparks was instrumental in the design and funding for an "All Abilities Playground" recently completed at the Sparks Marina. Pictured here are members of Sparks Rotary at the park dedication ceremony. Please click the button below to read the official press release from the City of Sparks.

Big shout out to Sparks Rotarian Don Welsh who led the way on this project. Shown here are Don and his wife Lori and their daughter Rebecca.
Thank you to the City of Sparks, The Reno Rodeo Association, The Ozmen Foundation and of course, the members of Sparks Rotary for making this dream a reality.
KIDS' FREE FISHING DAY - 2022
Kids' Free Fishing Day has been a tradition with Sparks Rotary going on 21 years! Every second week in June we host two separate days of fishing at the Sparks Marina. The first day is reserved for all area adaptive youth while the second day is open to all area youth. Our Rotarians and other members of the community provide coaching and support to area youth who would like to learn how to fish and spend some time in the outdoors of Nevada. All fishing gear and food is provided free to the participants. We'd like to extend a special thank you to the team from the Nevada Department of Wildlife for all of their support of this event!
