Bradley E. Woodring is the Manager of Economic Development for NV Energy. In this role, he oversees the efforts of the company’s business attraction goals while working with state and local agencies, economic development entities, and brokers/developers and the marketing of their properties to prospective new and expanding companies in the state of Nevada.
 
Brad has worked with land developers, both commercial and residential, giving him a unique insight to the overall process of community development. He has served on many local boards, including the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada Board of Trustees, the Builders' Association of Northern Nevada, the Nevada Land Conservancy, Nevadaworks Board of Directors, and Western Industrial Nevada Board of Directors.
 
Brad is also very involved with community volunteer work serving as Chairperson for the Keaton Rafael Memorial Childhood Cancer Board (now the Northern Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation), Past President of Reno Central Rotary Club, and The Children’s Cabinet Board. Currently, Brad serves as the chair of the Truckee Meadows Community College Foundation Board and sits on the Governor’s Workforce Investment Board that oversees workforce training through local workforce boards and contractors in the state of Nevada.
 
He is a 32 year resident of Northern Nevada, coming from southern California where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.
